Construction Equipment Stolen, DUIs: New Lenox Police Reports
New Lenox police reports through June 8.
The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.
June 1
- Christian Montgomery, 21, of Matteson, was charged with driving while license suspended at 7:11 p.m. in the 600 block of East Lincoln Highway.
- Over $5,000 worth of construction equipment was stolen from a construction site overnight in the 2000 block of Cardinal Drive.
June 2

- Daniel Landefeld, 37, of the 0-100 block of Victorian Drive, was charged with domestic battery at 11:40 p.m. According to reports, the victim, a teenager, had a minor injury and not require treatment.
June 3
- Over $600 worth of construction equipment was stolen from a construction site in the 1900 block of Royalglen Drive.

- Over $5,000 worth of construction equipment was stolen from a construction site in the 2000 block of Stapleton Road.
June 6
- Joshua Creasy, 31, of Joliet, was charged with DUI-alcohol and illegal transportation of alcohol at 1:24 a.m. in the 1900 block of Silver Cross Boulevard.
- Someone entered a construction site in the 400 block of Landings Drive and damaged drywall in a building under construction.
- Someone entered an unlocked car in the 2100 block of Edgeview Drive and stole a wallet containing $400 in cash. Reports state the wallet was found a few houses away without the money.
June 8
- Stevie Leggions, 35, of Joliet, was charged with speeding, DUI-alcohol, endangering the life of a child and no proof of insurance at 1:06 a.m. at Cass Street and Cherry Hill Road. Reports state Leggions was driving under the influence of alcohol with a 2-year-old in the car.
