Crook Stole Change From Unlocked Car: Cops

A thief slipped inside an unlocked car parked on Jackson Branch Drive and stole change, police said.

The law was alerted shortly after 7 p.m. Wednesday.

An officer was sent to the scene of the crime and met with the victim of the theft. She “advised that an unknown person entered her unlocked vehicle and removed change,” police said.

The matter was to be looked into by detectives, police said.
