Dates Set for Lincoln-Way District 210 Preschool Registration

First date is set for Friday, March 6.

Registration for Lincoln-Way High School’s 2015-2016 Early Childhood Education preschool program sponsored by the Family and Consumer Sciences department will occur in early March.

In New Lenox, the Central Campus will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday, March 6 in Room D119. For the West Campus, from10:15 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. on March 9 in room B126.

In Frankfort, the North Campus from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Friday March 6 in room A108.

The East Campus will be held on Friday March 6 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. where you will enter through door 9 at the North end of the building located by the tennis courts.

For Central, West, and North you may park at the front of the buildings and go through the main entrance to follow the signs to the room.

Children must be three years old by September 1, 2015, toilet trained and must reside within the Lincoln-Way school district to be eligible. Parents must complete the written applications; no telephone applications will be accepted. If you are unable to attend the registration please call the number below before the registration date.

A total of 16 children, ages 3 to 5, will be selected to attend a morning session. Preschool will meet Wednesdays and Thursdays from October through January. The program continues Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at East, North and Central and Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at West from February through May.

Fees are $30-40 per month or/$240-320 per year. A nonrefundable deposit of $60-80 will be required of those selected into the program and will be applied to the first two months of preschool.

This program gives Early Childhood Education students an opportunity to work with children in a preschool environment under the full-time supervision of a Family and Consumer Sciences’ instructor.
