Disc Golf Video Demo: How to Play the Fourth Hole on Mokena's Oaks Course

At 318 feet, it's reachable on your drive, even if you're an experienced and talented player. For newcomers, look at putting your drive in a good spot to set up an opportunistic approach shot.

The Oaks Disc Golf Course has 27 holes and offers it's share of dogleg lefts and dogleg rights, as well as a few holes where the basket is tucked snugly behind a tree or other shrubbery creating blind shots.

There is some debate as to what is the signature hole at The Oaks, a Mokena Community Park District layout, and No. 13 is one that deserves consideration. It measures 405 feet from the back tee box with the basket tucked within some trees above terraces.

Another one deserving of consideration is No. 10, which would be John Daly-worthy if this was golf with the little white ball. It goes 560 feet from the back tee and allows players to really air it out or give their roller a try.

These two are just a couple of the many noteworthy holes at The Oaks, but today we take a look at No. 4, a hole that can be approached with a couple different types of throws. The hole is 318 feet from the pro tees and is reachable for some players. For those less experienced and not as skilled in throwing the disc for distance, you'll probably need to use your second shot as an approach rather than a putt.

Randall Bruemmer, Ryan Hoffmann, Anthony Rodriguez, Dave Kociuba, Tom Matesevac and Steve Slater show you how they can drive the distance of this hole, while Hoffmann drains a "birdie" putt and cards a 2.

Although this hole is listed as a Par 4, avid players like these six friends play the entire Oaks course as Par 3s.
