Driver Ticketed in Joliet Crash that Killed New Lenox Man
Still no reason why driver crossed into eastbound lane.

The driver of the Buick that crashed into 82-year-old Glenn Trost’s pick-up truck has been ticketed for his role in the accident, Illinois State Police said.
Jorge Contreras, 20, of Joliet, was cited for improper lane usage.

The accident happened early Friday evening when Contreras’ Buick was traveling westbound on Hillcrest Road near US 30 and crossed into the eastbound lane, hitting Trost’s pick-up truck. Police said there is still no known reason why Contreras crossed into the eastbound lane.
According to a preliminary autopsy report, Trost, of New Lenox, died of multiple injuries sustained in the crash.

Three people from the Buick were treated for injuries that were not life threatening.
The Kurtz Memorial Chapel in New Lenox will be handling funeral arrangements for Trost.
