DUI, Burglary: New Lenox Police Reports

The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Nov. 23

• Travis Mauer, 26, of the 100 block of Willimas, was arrested at 2:21 a.m. in the 100 block of Ash Street and charged with DUI and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
• Someone forced entry into a home being built in the 100 block of Rossford Lane. Copper piping and power tools were stolen.
• A mailbox and garbage can were damaged in the 100 block of Charleston Drive.

Nov. 24

• Aron Garcia, 20, of Matteson, was arrested at 12:42 a.m. at Schoolhouse Road and Covey Court and charged with driving while license suspended.
• A man stole a case of beer from Jewel, 2021 E. Laraway Road. He pushed an employee to the ground as he fled the store.
