DUI, Drug Possession: New Lenox Arrests

The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Feb. 11

• Elsa Escalana, 24, of Joliet, was arrested at 4:18 p.m. in the 300 block of West Lincoln Highway and charged with driving while license suspended.
• John Bogart, 44, of the 1800 block of Tomahawk Road, was arrested at 4:42 p.m. at Laraway and Gougar roads and charged with DUI, driving while license suspended, illegal transportation of open alcohol and improper lane use.

Feb. 14

• A car was keyed while parked in the 1900 block of Garnet Court.

Feb. 15

• Cash and a watch were stolen out of an unlocked car in the 600 block of Downing Street.
• A car was scratched in several spots while it was parked at Aldi, 351 E. Lincoln Highway.

Feb. 18

• Oneal Clash, 51, of Joliet, was arrested at 7:03 p.m. in the 300 block of Lincoln Highway and charged with driving while license suspended and expired registration.

Feb. 19

• Lorena Gonzalez, 35, of Chicago Heights, was arrested at 6:29 p.m. at Lincoln Highway and Washington Street and charged with driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
• Jessica Smith, 37, of Joliet, was arrested at 9:37 p.m. at Lincoln Highway and Prairie Road and charged with speeding, driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured vehicle.

Feb. 20

• Two tires were flattened by someone overnight in the 1900 block of Heatherway Lane.

Feb. 22

• Two unlocked cars were stolen from the 2900 block of Gannet Lane. The keys were inside the cars. One car was later found unoccupied in Calumet Park.
• Someone forced entry to a home under construction in the 2200 block of Jetstream Drive. Nothing appeared to be missing.
• Eduardo Ramirez-Rodriguez, 43, of Joliet, was arrested at 8 p.m. at Lincoln Highway and Schoolhouse Road and charged with driving while license suspended.

Feb. 23

• Joseph Marlowe, 21, of the 700 block of Lake Street, was arrested at 7:36 a.m. at Constitution and Schoolhouse roads and charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Feb. 24

• Mayra Rodriguez, 26, of Joliet, was arrested at 11:09 a.m. at Lincoln Highway and I-80 and charged with driving while license suspended and speeding.

Feb. 25

• A passenger window of a car was broken out and a computer bag was stolen while the car was parked at LA Fitness, 2431 E. Lincoln Highway.
