DUI, License Revoked: New Lenox Police Reports

The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

Oct. 21

  • A woman stole two purses from Target, 2370 E. Lincoln Highway, and attempted to exit the store. She was confronted by an employee, who she pushed and then the woman ran away. The employee was able to recover one of the purses before the woman fled. The value of the stolen purse was over $40.

  • Patrick O'Brien, 25, of the 200 block of Congress, was arrested at 11 p.m. at Gougar and Francis roads and charged with DUI-alcohol and speeding.

Oct. 23

  • Eight bottles of alcohol were stolen from Jewel, 2021 E. Laraway Road. Total loss was over $407.

  • Heriberto Lopez, 28, of Joliet, was arrested at 12:22 p.m. in the 1800 block of West Lincoln Highway and charged with driving while license suspended.
  • Mark Higgins, 55, of Chicago, was arrested at 4:18 p.m. in the 800 block of West Lincoln Highway and charged with driving while license revoked.
