DUIs, Domestic Battery: New Lenox Arrests

New Lenox Police reports through July 15.

The following information is from the New Lenox Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

July 8

  • Noah Rupeika, 23, of the 200 block of Colony Lane, was arrested at 12:44 a.m. at Nelson Road and Joliet Highway and charged with theft.

July 10

  • Arieonna Merrell, 25, of Joliet, was arrested at 2:35 p.m. at Haven and Warren avenues and charged with speeding, driving while license suspended and illegal use of cellphone.
  • Andrew Planeta, 41, of Joliet, was arrested at 4:56 p.m. at Lincoln Highway and I-80 and charged with speeding and driving while license revoked.
  • Niclas Wurtsmith, 36, of Gilbert, Arizona, was arrested at 7:44 p.m. at Lincoln Highway and Schoolhouse Road and charged with speeding and driving while license suspended.
  • A mailbox was damaged with fireworks in the 1100 block of Ogden Road.

July 11

  • Aquanette McDonald, 43, of Joliet, was arrested at 8:02 a.m. at Lincoln Highway and I-80 and charged with speeding and driving while license suspended.
  • Sarah Raycroft, 32, of the 700 block of Lake Road, was arrested at 3:32 p.m. in the 100 block of Sanctuary Drive and charged with DUI-alcohol and driving while license revoked.

July 12

  • Timothy Doran, 48, of Lockport, was arrested at 10:26 a.m. in the 300 block of West Lincoln Highway and charged with DUI-alcohol and illegal transporation of open alcohol.

July 13

  • A door and lock mechanism was damaged in the 900 block of East Lincoln Highway.
  • Robert Burnett, 23, of the 1000 block of Shagbark Road, was arrested at 3:46 a.m. in the 1000 block of Shagbark and charged with domestic battery.
  • An unlocked car with the keys inside was stolen from the 200 block of Essex Lane. The car was recovered two days later in Chicago.

July 14

  • $1,000 worth of alcohol was stolen from CVS, 115 E. Lincoln Highway.
