Cub Scout program teaches boys about community, family,
self, and the outdoors through aset of fun, organized activities. The Cub Scout
Program is designed for boys in grades 1st through 5th.
The Cub Scouting program has 10 purposes related to the
overall mission of the Boy Scouts of America –to build character, learn
citizenship, and develop personal fitness: 1) CharacterDevelopment, 2)
Respectful Relationships, 3) Spiritual Growth, 4) Personal Achievement, 5)
GoodCitizenship, 6) Friendly Service, 7) Sportsmanship and Fitness, 8) Fun and
Adventure, 9) FamilyUnderstanding, and 10) Preparation for Boy Scouts.
