The Lincoln-Way West cafeteria will be transformed into a jazz coffeehouse for an evening on Saturday, April 28th. Sponsored by the music boosters, the event features the L-W West high school jazz band, recently named grand champion at the ISU Jazz Festival on March 24th. Victor Garcia, a rising star in the Chicago jazz scene, will be a special guest performer. The event also features the high school jazz choir and the New Lenox junior high jazz band. Doors open at 6:30 pm with the music beginning at 7 pm; admission is $10 per person. Coffeehouse drinks, smoothies, and desserts will be available for purchase.
