The community is invited to attend the grand opening for the Joliet Junior College Automotive expansion on Tuesday, Aug. 30, on the Main Campus, 1215 Houbolt Road in Joliet.
The event will begin at 4 p.m. with an opening ceremony and guest speakers, followed by a reception from 4:30-6 p.m. with refreshments.
Tours of the space will also be available.

One of seven major construction projects in the college’s 2008 master plan, the expansion of the automotive technology service program will help increase enrollment capacity in this high-demand field and provide a technologically advanced learning environment for students.
