The event will spotlight the Lincoln-Way West Jazz Band and Jazz Choir as well as the New Lenox Junior High Jazz Band.
The evening’s featured act will be the Mark Colby Quartet. Mark Colby is on staff at DePaul University as a jazz saxophone instructor and has performed with many greats of the music industry.
“This event not only helps the Music Boosters raise funds to support the high school’s music programs, but also provides a performance venue for the high school and junior high jazz programs. We are pleased to bring professional jazz to our citizens for their enjoyment,” stated Steve Nedzel, Music Department Chair at West.
