The event will take place on October 2, 2011 and is a noncompetitive 5K walk that will circle and enter the track at Chicagoland Speedway. We hope to raise $105,000 to help the American Cancer Society create a world with more birthdays and less breast cancer. The event should draw around 2,500 walkers. On May 7th the website for this event will be launched- www.makingstridesjoliet.com. Chicagoland Speedway is donating the use of the track for this event.
