Youth Football Registration

The New Lenox Youth Football Association (NLYFA) will hold registration for their 2011 Football and Cheerleading season.

Online registration for Alumni as well as pre-registration for new participants is available at www.NLYFA.com. Alumni siblings may preregister during this time as well. The final day to register is Saturday March 26th, 2011 at the Francis Field Youth Foundation Main Building - 801 E. Francis Road in New Lenox. The league will complete registration on all alumni and siblings from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Failure to complete the registration on time will result in loss of alumni status.

Open (Lottery) registration will complete from 11:30 a.m to 12:30 p.m. Football players entering grades one through eight in fall of 2011 will be eligible for the Tackle Football program. All tackle football players must attend registration on March 26th to weigh in and get sized – there will be no exceptions.

The Cheer program is open to all girls entering grades one through eight in the fall of 2011. There will be cap of 30 girls per squad. Cheerleaders must be present at registration on March 26th for uniform try-on – there will be no exceptions. Please wear shorts/t-shirt or leotard for try-on. Cheer Coaching positions are still available. Please contact us for more info.

Registration fees are $190.00 for tackle and cheer. $70.00 Raffle ticket fundraiser will also be required to be paid at registration. The NLYFA has a 30-Day Refund policy with respect to registration fees. There will be no exceptions. There is also a refundable deposit for parent volunteer services. This will be collected at a later date during equipment hand out.

For Football and Cheer, please note that if needed, sibling registration and open registration for new participants are done utilizing a lottery method. The sibling and new player lottery will be held March 26th at 12:30 P.M. Please be present at the lottery and be prepared to immediately register a sibling or new player/cheerleader upon being granted a roster spot.

The NLYFA is a member of the River Valley Youth Tackle Football League. The league features more flexible weight classes for football, a striper/double striper program, October playoffs and experienced coaching staffs. The cheer program includes half-time pom routines and sideline cheers along with a limited practice schedule. Practice for football and cheer will begin the week of Aug 1, 2011.
