Iowa Man Killed in Crash on I-80 Monday
The three-car collision shut down eastbound lanes. One dead, two reported injured.

One person was killed and two others were injured today after a three-vehicle crash on I-80 at Briggs near Joliet, Illinois State Police Master Sgt. R.A. Caves said.
The man killed was identified by the Will County Coroner’s Office as David Ruiz Zenteno, a 31-year-old Des Moines, Iowa resident.
Two victims were taken to the hospital, one with life-threatening injuries and the other without, Caves said. There is no word just yet on the identity, age or gender of any of the victims.

Police say that around 4 p.m., a vehicle headed westbound on I-80 crossed into the eastbound lanes, striking two vehicles.
