In 2013, with a population of 24,805, the village had 21 violent crimes, 0 murders and/or non-negligent manslaughter cases, 4 rapes, 0 robberies, 17 aggravated assaults, 270 property crimes, 37 burglaries, 227 larcenies, 6 motor vehicle thefts and 2 reported instances of arson.
