Food Truck Based In New Lenox Will Be On 'Chicago's Best' TV
The Eckert family's "ROGUE Curbside Kitchen" will be highlighted as one of the five best food trucks in Chicagoland.

NEW LENOX, IL -- A New Lenox-based food truck will be featured on WGN's "Chicago's Best" TV show this month as one of Chicagoland's five best food trucks. ROGUE Curbside Kitchen has been on the road throughout the suburbs for more than a year as a project of the Eckert family, which has 45 years of combined experience planning events in the hotel industry. The family's culinary passion resulted in a decision to take a restaurant business "curbside to every home, business, festival and event that was looking for a unique experience with great food and service," according to its website.
Sara Eckert, CEO and catering director at ROGUE, said there can be enough food on the truck for up to 600 people depending on the menu, but ROGUE also rents additional equipment to cater events in the thousands.
"In the past, we've prepared a 5 course meal served by staff wearing white gloves and bow ties in the privacy of the guest's home," Eckert said. "We even customize centerpieces and give advice on wine pairings."

The food is cooked fresh and made to order. Eckert said ROGUE specializes in handhelds, but can "do a variety of cuisine ranging from Banana Fosters Crème Brule stuffed French Toast to Roasted Vegetable and Short Rib Risotto."
The best way to follow the food truck is on their Facebook page. Eckert said their weekly schedule is posted on Mondays. To set up catering events, call 708-250-9860
