Franciscan Health Offers Free Balance & Dizziness Screenings

Falls are preventable and Franciscan Health therapists will help you learn how to reduce your risk at no charge.

Franciscan Health is offering free balance and dizziness screenings on Thursday, April 18, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at its Outpatient Therapy Clinic, located at 10367 W. Lincoln Highway in Frankfort.

Free screenings will be performed by licensed Franciscan Health-METT Therapy Services physical therapists who will perform individualized tests and make recommendations to improve balance and reduce dizziness. METT Therapy Services is contracted by Franciscan Health to deliver inpatient and outpatient physical and occupational services.

In addition to the Frankfort clinic, Franciscan Health has four additional outpatient therapy locations, including 989 Dixie Hwy. in Beecher; 100 W. 197th Pl. in Chicago Heights; Cherry Creek Center in Homewood and 20201 S. Crawford Ave. in Olympia Fields.

Franciscan Health outpatient therapy clinics offer physical, occupational and speech therapy to treat balance/vertigo, joint pain and replacements, arthritis, surgical recovery and neurological conditions, such as Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, stroke and more.
