Lincoln-Way fielded its first varsity lacrosse team this spring, finishing with a 4-10 record after losing its playoff opener, 14-9, to Chiefs Lacrosse last Wednesday.
Sophomore Austin Hyatt, who attends Lincoln-Way Central, has been playing lacrosse for six years and is one of the more talented players in the area. The good news for Lincoln-Way is that he has two more years to continue to develop. This bodes well for the Wolves as they aren’t graduating many seniors this spring.
