Girl Scout Leader Daughter Event

Service Unit 710 in New Lenox held their Leader Daughter event in November at Teardrop Cafe on Laraway Road. Those in attendance had a fun and exciting evening of pancakes along with a pajama party. At "One Stitch at a time" they learned how to sew some basic sewing stitches on cute holiday ornaments. Sewing is a lost trade that used to bring people together. The Viking Sewing Center inside the Joann Fabric Store in Orland Park gave them a great deal on a brand new sewing machine to give away. The Rodriguez family was the lucky winner!
