Girl Scout Troop 75208 honors "Forever Girl Scout"

On Tuesday, November 15, Daisy Troop 75208 packed shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child honoring "Forever Girl Scout Karly Little." Karly lived in New Lenox. She demonstrated kindness, compassion, and giving from the heart to everyone she met. Even though her time here was short, her legacy lives on through service projects like this that are fulfilled by various girl scout troops, athletic teams, and churches in the area. These shoe boxes were filled with essentials like toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, and washcloths, along with fun items such as crayons, school supplies, puzzles, sidewalk chalk and more. The girls earned the Daisy Rose Pedal, "Making the World a Better Place" by packing these boxes. The troop leaders are very proud of the girls for serving from their heart.
