Girl Scout Troop 342 was busy this Fall. For the third year in a row they participated in a Halloween candy buy back. With the help of Nelson Ridge Intermediate School, Oakview Intermediate School, and Haines Elementary School the girls collected over 450 pounds of candy. They brought the candy to Manhattan Dental Care where the staff bought the candy from them. The candy was sent to our military men and women serving overseas. The girls used the money they earned to sponser a local family in need this holiday season. The cadettes look forward to this event every year and appreciate the support they receive from local schools, Manhattan Dental and the community.
