In early March, New Lenox Girl Scouts from three different troops along with their families donated their time at Feed My Starving Children in Aurora. Feed My Starving Children is a Christian non-profit organization that coordinates the packaging and distribution of food to developing countries. Junior Troop #750, Cadette Troop #466, and Ambassador Troop #505, participated in this event. They made a huge impact by packaging 249 boxes and 70,632 nutritious meals. This will feed 193 children for one year! The girls had fun working together while doing good for others.
