Girl Scouts Helping Shelter Animals

New Lenox Girl Scout troop 123 is working on their bronze award this year and is dedicating it to helping shelter animals. They worked the 'Pooch A Palooza' event earlier this year and raised money selling their homemade dog treats. They then used the money they earned to buy supplies for a local shelter and also learned how to budget the money while there.
