A Happy Ending for New Lenox Tortoise and His Family
"Blue" the tortoise went missing Monday and the community came together to find him.
A New Lenox family is relieved after being reunited with ”Blue,” their beloved pet tortoise. He was found Wednesday after reported missing Monday.
“Blue is now home eating lots of cantaloupe!” wrote the owner on New Lenox Patch Facebook.
“Thank you to all our neighbors and friends and to our lawn guy Dennis who found him! Dennis found him on another street nesting under a bunch of sticks. Cannot believe he actually saw him!”
