Priest: Adapted from a manhwa of the same name, Priest proves that even alternate worlds have to deal with vampires, but at least in theirs, there are no Cullens. Rated R. 87 mins. (This film will be realeased on May 13; Showplace New Lenox 14 is holding a special midnight showing Thursday night).

Something Borrowed: Big Love's Ginnifer Goodwin and The Office's John Krasinski charm in this romantic comedy. Rated PG-13. 103 mins. (Cinemark Louis Joliet Mall, Orland Park Cinema, Showplace New Lenox 14)

There Be Dragons: This historical epic set during the Spanish Civil War discusses such themes as forgiveness, betrayal, friendship and love. Rated PG-13. 117 mins. (Showplace New Lenox 14)
