Inside Job: New Lenox Gas Station Employee Allegedly Stole From New Lenox Gas Station

A New Lenox man stole from the gas station that employed him, police said.

Brandon McCure, 27, was charged with theft for allegedly stealing from the Speedway station on South Cedar Road.

An officer was sent to the Speedway station about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday to look into a complaint of a thieving employee.

“The officer learned that an employee, McCure, was stealing from the business,” police said.

McCure was released after he posted bond.
