Joliet Montessori School Schedules Wine Pairing Fundraiser
On April 26th, wine, dine and be merry for a great cause at the 2018 Wine Pairing Classic benefiting student Financial Aid
Joliet Montessori School (JMS) has scheduled its annual Wine Pairing Classic event for Thursday, April 26th at the historic Public Landing Restaurant in Lockport.
Benefiting the JMS Financial Aid Program, the event will kick off with a Champagne Welcome at 6:30 pm and continue with a night of fine dining, tempting wine pairings, silent auctions for luxury gifts and raffles for top-shelf wines and accessories.
Head of School Heidi Geiger is excited about this year’s event. “Of all the bright spots on the school’s social calendar, this is definitely one of the brightest,” she said. “We have made this an annual tradition because people love the spectacle and sophistication. It’s truly one of the most enjoyable ways to help out the school. It’s particularly important because the Financial Aid Program is key to our mission to improve the availability of Montessori education to all children who can benefit.”

“I know I’ll be there,” Geiger added.
JMS anticipates another full room for this year’s event, so all tickets must be purchased in advance online before April 9th. Prior to March 6th, early birds can reserve their tickets for $75 per person; after March 6th, tickets are $100. No tickets will be sold at the door.

The Public Landing Restaurant is located at 200 W. 8th Street in Lockport.
