Joliet Woman Messed Up On Drugs Or Alcohol Nearly Crashed Car In New Lenox: Cops
The Joliet woman was jailed on a charge of driving under the influence, among other things.

A drunken or drugged Joliet woman nearly crashed her car into other vehicles as she drove “erratically” around New Lenox, police said.
Shakundala Willis, 28, was charged with driving under the influence, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license revoked following her arrest shortly before midnight Dec. 14.
Willis was taken into custody near the corner of Route 6 and Silver Cross Boulevard.

An officer was sent to the intersection to look for a “vehicle driving erratically, almost striking other vehicles on the roadway,” police said.
“The officer located the vehicle and discovered that the driver, Willis, was under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs,” police said. “The officer further discovered that Willis had a revoked license.”

Willis was taken to the Will County jail.
