Kidnapping Suspect Photos Released In New Lenox Township Incident
The two suspects in the photos entered at least three stores with the abducted man's bank card, authorities said.
NEW LENOX, IL — The Will County Sheriff's Office has released photos of men who police say are involved in the kidnapping and armed robbery of a New Lenox Township man. Police believe the incident in New Lenox Township on Nov. 29 and a similar incident in Frankfort on Nov. 16 are related, and Will County detectives and Frankfort police detectives are investigating.
According to police, four men wearing ski masks forced a New Lenox Township man at gunpoint into an SUV. The man remained inside the vehicle while the kidnappers made several stops at stores using his bank card, police said.
The two suspects shown in the photos entered stores with the abducted man's bank card. Police said the two wore full ski masks, layers of winter clothing, coats with hoods up and winter hats. One suspect also wore a winter glove. Both suspects wore bright yellow/orange construction vests.

According to police, the two entered the stores and made multiple small purchases — such as candy bars — and got cash back in $100 or $50 increments with each purchase using the victim's bank card. Police believe this happened in at least three stores, and they are looking for additional video surveillance footage.
Police are asking the public for information in identifying the suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call the Will County Sheriff’s Investigations Division at 815-727-8574.
