Lincoln-Way West parents heard Holly Pierson, PPS Department chair, talk about preparing for college and new changes to the college application process and transcripts.
“We encourage each of you to start thinking about colleges and visiting colleges. Juniors and seniors are encouraged to visit with our college reps here at school. We have over 100 college reps come to West to meet with students. This is a great opportunity to ask questions about a college and get to know the college reps who are influential in making admission decisions,” stated Pierson.
Pierson continued, “Juniors and parents of juniors, please take advantage of our counselor’s offer to meet individually with every junior with their parents in February or March to talk through the college process. Our counselors will walk through each step of the college process with your family.”
