The Providence Celtics girls tennis team defeated Hillcrest and Oak Lawn at the Lincoln Way North Quad on Saturday, but lost the deciding match to Lincoln Way North to take second place. Sophomore Hannah Davis (1st singles) and seniors Maggie and Kelly Ruane (1st doubles) each went 3-0. The team's record is now 7-1 heading into a challenging week where they will face conference rivals, traveling to Fenwick on Tuesday and at home against Joliet Catholic on Thursday. The team is coached by Ben Thompson.
