Lincoln-Way 210 Holds Scholarship Nights

Between all three schools, 462 graduating seniors were awarded $914,526.

NEW LENOX, IL — Lincoln-Way Central, East and West each recently held their annual Scholarship Nights, where local businesses, individuals, families, organizations, and foundations presented scholarships to graduating seniors in each school’s auditorium. The district said that between all three schools, 462 graduating seniors were awarded $914,526.

Among the awards at each ceremony, memorial scholarships were given to students in memory of community members’ loved ones. The district said local businesses and nonprofits showed their support by offering scholarships to graduating seniors who have shown interest or talent in a specific area of study, activity or sport.

“We are so appreciative of the organizations for their time, effort and support in making this evening possible," Lincoln-Way East Counselor Lynne Jurges said in a release. "The scholarships provided can be life changing for our students. We are proud of our students and honored that the organizations recognized them as worthy recipients.”
