Lincoln-Way Band Wins Stagg Jamboree
The Lincoln-Way band was described as "magical" by a parent at another school during the Stagg Jamboree on Saturday.

PALOS, IL -- The Lincoln-Way Marching Band took home the top prize at the Amos Alonzo Stagg High School Marching Band Jamboree in Palos Hills over the weekend. The band won first place in the AAA category and were ranked better than all of the other 13 bands that took part in the Saturday competition.
“The crowd loved them," LWMB Sponsor Kim Hansen said. "We could over-hear people talking about how impressive they were, and one parent even told us they were magical."
In addition to winning the first place award in the category of schools with the largest bands, Lincoln-Way was also voted best in ensemble, music, auxiliary and percussion.
