Don't worry if you're too full to move very far the day after Thanksgiving—even if you want to participate in the mad rush of Black Friday, there are lots of local deals that will keep you in the Lincoln-Way area.

Black Friday, the day after Thanksgiving, is known as the unofficial start to holiday shopping and often features early hours, long lines and special deals. Here are what some local stores are offering:

NEW LENOX

  • Opens: Store is open 24 hours, but deals will be staggered starting at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving with clothing, sporting goods, toys, movies and more. At midnight, a majority of electronics go on sale. At 8 a.m. Friday, larger items such as tires and pellet rifles will go on sale.
