Approximately 40 young athletes from second to eighth grade and their fathers attended the first annual Lincoln-Way Central Knight Football Father/Son Camp on Sunday, May 3 at Central’s stadium.
The camp was organized by Jeremy Cordell, Central’s Assistant Athletic Director and Head Football Coach, with the entire Central football staff and 15 Central football players who helped run the camp.

“We held this camp to showcase our Knight’s football program to the community and also to provide young athletes with fundamental speed, agility and football instruction that can be practiced in the backyard,” said Cordell. “It was priceless to observe fathers and sons bonding at the camp and to see all of the great connections created between area families, coaches and players.”
