Lincoln-Way D210 Delays Start Of School To Aug. 24
The district received new guidance from IDPH on Wednesday and needs time to plan and prepare.
NEW LENOX, IL — Lincoln-Way Community High School District 210 has delayed the start of the school year. The district was set to begin Aug. 19, but the first day of student attendance will now be Aug. 24.
According to a post on the district's Facebook page, the district received updated guidelines about the reopening of school on Wednesday.
"These new guidelines necessitate additional planning and preparation on our behalf," the district said on its Facebook.

Aug. 20 and Aug. 21 will now be teacher planning days, so students will not be in attendance at all next week.
