Lincoln-Way High Schools Calendar 2019-20: First Day, Breaks

NEW LENOX, IL — District 210 Lincoln-Way School District students will soon head back to school for the 2019-20 school year. District 210 has released its school calendar for the year, which is full of important dates to remember for both parents and students.

The calendar includes dates like winter and spring break, holidays, conferences and half days. Here is the list of days you should know for this school year:

August

• Aug. 20 - First day of school
• Aug. 29 - Delayed start

September

• Sept. 2 - Labor Day, no school
• Sept. 21 - Homecoming Dance for Lincoln-Way Central
• Sept. 24 - Delayed start
• Sept. 28 - Homecoming Dance for Lincoln-Way East
• Sept. 28 - Homecoming Dance for Lincoln-Way West

October

• Oct. 14 - Columbus Day, no school
• Oct. 15 - Delayed start

November

• Nov. 12 - Delayed start
• Nov. 26 - Parent teacher conferences, no school
• Nov. 27, 28, 29 - Thanksgiving holiday, no school

December

• Dec. 3 - Delayed start
• Dec. 20 - Winter break begins at end of day

January

• Jan. 6 - Teacher Institute, no school
• Jan. 7 - Classes resume from winter break
• Jan. 20 - Martin Luther King Jr. Day, no school

February

• Feb. 11 - Delayed start
• Feb. 15 - TWIRP Dance for Lincoln-Way East
• Feb. 17 - Presidents Day, no school
• Feb. 19 - One hour early release
• Feb. 22 - TWIRP Dance for Lincoln-Way West

March

• March 13 -Teachers Institute, no school
• March 27 - One hour early release, spring break begins at end of day.

April

• April 6 - Classes resume from spring break
• April 10 - No school
• April 24 - Prom for Lincoln-Way East

May

• May 2 - Prom for Lincoln-Way West
• May 25 - Memorial Day, no school
• May 26 - Lincoln-Way West graduation
• May 27 - Tentative last day of school
• May 27 - Lincoln-Way East graduation
