Lincoln-Way West Cheerleading Advances to Final Round at State

Lincoln-Way West wrapped the first day at 2015 IHSA Medium Division Cheerleading State competition in the top 10, moving them on to the final round.

The Warriors landed a score of 85.10, tying them for 9th with Mascoutah. Lemont High School topped the 25-team field with an 88.87, followed by Tinley Park High School with an 87.87, and Hampshire with an 87.77. The Lincoln-Way West squad will compete in the event’s final round on Saturday, February 7, at U.S. Cellular Coliseum in Bloomington, Ill.

The finals for the Medium Division will take place at 11 a.m., with the awards ceremony scheduled to follow at 12:45 p.m. Lincoln-Way West is scheduled to perform at 12:35 p.m.

Tickets are available at the door, and are $10 for both children and adults.
