Lincoln-Way West Madrigal Dinner Tickets on Sale Now

Performances are set for Dec. 4–6.

Tickets are now on sale for the 6th Annual Lincoln-Way West High School Madrigal Dinners. The Madrigal Dinners will be presented on Thursday through Saturday, December 4–6 at 6 p.m. in the L-W West Fine Arts Center.

Tickets are $30 and can be ordered by calling 815-717-3507. Questions can be asked by phone.

“Travel back to renaissance times as you experience a full three-course meal while enjoying the talents of the Madrigal Singers, along with our Madrigal Brass and Guitar Studio. Join us as our performers explore the theme of love throughout the centuries in both traditional madrigals and some of your favorite carols,” stated Tom Venutolo, choral director.

Venutolo continued, “Our vocalists have been working since July to prepare nearly an hour’s worth of music ranging from the 16th century to modern times. The Madrigal Dinner is an experience like no other; our stage is transformed into a castle courtyard for our guests while our singers and actors, dressed in elaborate costumes, present a heart-warming show that incorporates over 30 songs within the play.”

The 2014 West Madrigal Singers are: Nathan Adler, Kate Gibertini, Valerie Gibertini, Brianna Gray, Michaela Hagen, Anastasia Karnezis, Jenna Kirkeeng, Elizabeth Kritikos, Anna Leo, Kelly O’Sullivan, Danny Puig, Rachel Singh, Gretchen Stellwagen, Mattie Taylor, Cassidy Tiberi, Collin Tompulis, and Colleen Wright.

Madrigal Actors include: Sam Grubisich, Sarah Richardson, Mitchell Alcoser, Maggie O’Connell, Trisha Golec, and Kaelen Evon.

Madrigal Brass includes: Mark Macha, Melissa Horton, Josh Baxa, Brett Jones, and Brian Dexheimer.

Madrigal Director is Tom Venutolo, in his 6th Madrigal season.
