The United Methodist Church of New Lenox will present the Living Last Supper Thursday, April 2, at 7 p.m.
The Living Last Supper is a moving depiction of the moments before Jesus’ arrest and crucifixion. The service centers around a dramatic presentation of Jesus’ Last Supper. UsingDaVinci’s famous painting of the Last Supper as a starting point, each of the twelve disciples comes to life to examine his own relationship and motives as they react to Jesus’ announcement that his betrayer is sitting at the table with them. Communion will be available for all in this service.
