Lockport Thief Swapped Tags on Walmart Merchandise: Cops
The Lockport man was charged with stealing from the New Lenox Walmart.

A Lockport man swapped the tags on merchandise at the New Lenox Walmart in a bid to buy them for less than they were being sold for, police said.
William Ramirez, 44, was charged with retail theft in connection with his alleged Friday night caper at the East Lincoln Highway superstore.
An officer was sent to the Walmart about 8:45 p.m. and was told “switched tags on merchandise, reducing the price of the merchandise,” police said.
