LW 210 'State Of The District' Date Set
The public will have a chance to learn about the state of several issues facing the district at a meeting planned for later in January.

NEW LENOX, IL - Members of the Lincoln-Way community will have a chance to learn about the state of several issues within the Lincoln-Way Community High School District 210 at a first-of-its-kind "State of the District" meeting later this month. Members of the board of education and administration will be available at the Lincoln-Way Central Fine Arts Center after a presentation planned for 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 25.
“This event will allow our public to see the goals that were set forth during the strategic planning, the progressand accomplishments that have been made thus far, as well as our path for continued improvement,” LW 210 Board President Joseph Kirkeeng said.
The event stemmed from the Strategic Planning initiative, which began in December of 2016 and was facilitated by Dr. Robert J. Madonia, according to a news release from LW 210. The public will be updated on areas of focus including finance, building and grounds, community and public relations, curriculum and assessment, human resources and technology.

The meeting will cover the current state of each focus area, as well as the goals to be completed by 2022.
