LW North 'Gold Rush' Wins Battle of the Fans Football Final

Lincoln-Way North’s “Gold Rush” student section has been selected as Comcast’s 2015 Battle of the Fans Football Final Champion.

North earned 32 percent of the vote to easily win the recent poll run on CN100’s website to determine the top student section featured on Game of the Week during the 2015 football season. The school’s fans were selected for the competition based their tremendous energy and enthusiasm shown to the CN100 cameras.

As a testament to its school spirit, Lincoln-Way North will receive a special Battle of the Fans championship banner to display proudly. The banner will be presented on a future date.

Here is the final order of finish in this year’s voting:

3. Montini Catholic
4. Glenbard West
5. Geneva
6. Huntley
7. Downers Grove South
8. Stevenson
