LW Students Recognized For Participating In Reading Program
Between the three schools, 2,806 books were read as part of the 2018-2019 Read for a Lifetime Program.

NEW LENOX, IL — At the Lincoln-Way 210 Board of Education meeting on May 16, the board recognized a few students who participated in the Read for a Lifetime program. The district said during this school year, Lincoln-Way students and teacher have been reading for the state-wide Read for a Lifetime Program.
This annual event encourages students to read classic and contemporary literature and reward them for doing so, the district said. Schools are given a list of 25 books to read.
Three students from Lincoln-Way Central, 28 students from Lincoln-Way East and seven students from Lincoln-Way West completed all 25 books. According to the district, one senior from Lincoln-Way Central and two seniors from Lincoln-Way East completed the list of 25 books all four years in a row. Between the three schools, 2,806 books were read as part of the 2018-2019 Read for a Lifetime Program.
