LW210 to Hire Inspector General

A board-appointed person will be called upon to make sure district finances are managed properly.

NEW LENOX, IL - The Lincoln-Way Community High School District 210 will hire an inspector general to make sure all public funds are used effectively.

The position will be board-appointed and serve for two years, according to a report from the Daily Southtown. Superintendent Scott Tingley said names to consider for the post will be available by July 1.

The inspector general will investigate claims of fraud, financial mismanagement and other issues made by employees, students or parents.
