LWEA Endorses 4 for School Board
The Lincoln-Way Education Association endorses multiple incumbents for upcoming school board election.

NEW LENOX, IL - The Lincoln-Way Education Association has endorsed four candidates for the upcoming Lincoln-Way Community High School District 210 board of education election.
Representatives from the association met last Thursday night to recommend candidates for the school board, opting to endorse Beth Janus-Doyle for the two-year term and Aaron Janik, Chris Lucchetti and Dee Molinare for four-year terms.
The four candidates received a unanimous vote from the association which represents more than 400 District 210 teachers.

“Each of these candidates have expressed a vision for the Lincoln-Way District that does not contradict the vision of the LWEA,” according to a news release announcing the endorsements. “We are confident that with the election of these men and women, we can work together with the Board of Education in a renewed dedication to the students of our great district. With the help of informed voters we can make sure that the families across the Lincoln-Way District continue to have the highest quality education delivered by a union of respected and engaged education professionals.”
The April 4 election in District 210 has two, two-year terms and three four-year term seats open. In addition to Janus-Doyle, seeking the two-year terms are Joseph Kirkeeng, Robert Ripp, Lee Talley and Karen Town.

Those seeking four-year terms are Janik, Lucchetti, Molinare, Chris Kosel, Joseph Kosteck, Catherine Vasilakis Pleasant, Gus Yiakos and Ben Yomtoob.
