Scammers know you have questions about the new Health Insurance Marketplace and they are taking advantage of that to mislead you and cheat you. These scammers are hoping to use your confusion over the Affordable Care Act into ready cash for themselves by any means possible.
Keeping a potential victim confused and unsure is what scammers do best. They use this confusion to commit crimes such as identify theft, selling fake insurance policies. DON’T BE A VICTIM. An informed consumer is the first line of defense against abusive practices. Consumers need to get the information they need to make the healthcare decisions they believe are best for them.
