Markham Teen Pulls Inside Job at New Lenox Walmart: Police
The Markham teen stole a DVD, police said.
A Markham teen working at the New Lenox Walmart got caught stealing a DVD from the East Lincoln Highway superstore, police said.
Shamar Phillips, 18, was arrested shortly before 6:30 p.m. the day after Christmas and charged with retail theft.
An “officer was dispatched to Walmart reference a complaint of retail theft,” police said. “The complainant advised that Phillips, an employee of Walmart, removed a DVD from the store without paying for it.”

Phillips was released from custody after he posted bond.
